9 Weeks

I have been SO bad at keeping up with this blog! I'm going to try to be better.

I am 9 weeks now & feeling pretty good.

We told our girls last week that they are going to be getting a new baby brother or sister and they are counting down the days until July 29th!!

All of our family knows now and they can't wait to meet the new addition :-)

I will post a 9/10 week bump pic soon.

7 Weeks

Last night we went to a Christmas party at Mike's Aunt & Uncle's house. There were lots of babies there and a few references from the family of  "When are you guys gonna have one?"  and "You guys are next!"  We laughed about it on the ride home....I'm not just getting fat guys, there's a baby in there! ;-)

Only 13 more days until we can tell everyone!! 


Cravings: Pasta & Apple juice
Symptoms: Tired & Nauseous (not too bad though) 

6 1/2 Weeks

Yesterday we got to see "Our Little Bean" for the first time!!

(They gave us a due date of July 29th)

It was so great to see a tiny little heartbeat on the screen.

Of course on the way home we had to stop at Old Navy to make a return & picked up a little something for the baby.

How cute are these? We have to start the babies goofy sock collection early to match Daddys!

5 Weeks!

5 weeks is when the photo taking begins!!

Cravings: None

Symptoms: Nothing really yet,  just a little more tired than usual since I'm not sleeping well.

Yesterday we spent the day together & finished our Christmas shopping, WHOO-HOO! We also took our 1st trip to Babies R Us since we found out we're expecting to "browse", of course we ended up leaving with a big bag of stuff! (We're not the type to think buying baby stuff will somehow jinx the pregnancy). 

After shopping we went to Borders and relaxed with hot chocolates while looking at Baby Name Books.

I don't think we added any names to our list of choices, because we spent more time laughing over some of the ridiculous choices we found.  Leviticus is the name Mike kept pretending to like, he said it "just rolls off your tongue". Just hearing that makes me want to agree to his first choice of Jacob! I've got to admit, Jacob is growing on me. Logan was my favorite boys name, but it has already been vetoed, because Mike thinks it's a girls name. :-(

We're expecting a new addition!!

Boy or Girl, what will it be?

Guess we'll have to wait 'til July and see!!

We're going crazy not being able to tell anyone. We are planning on surprising the family on Christmas.

It is SO hard keeping our mouths shut! At the same time, it's kinda fun having it be our little secret. 

We had the 1st blood test done last week & will be going back to make sure the counts are doubling on Tuesday. They will schedule our 1st ultrasound based on Tuesdays results. It's finally starting to feel real!!
